30 Bluewater Drive, Central Huron, Ontario

Please bring your own sheets and towels (both beds and pull out sofa are “doubles”)

Cleaning is not included, and it is appreciated that you leave the cottage as clean... if not cleaner, than you receive it  ;-)

Please feel free to use anything in the cottage, or the shed out back. (This includes things that have been left by previous guests…i.e.. cleaning supplies, bug spray, flashlights, shampoos, soaps, etc., etc.)

Please do not smoke in the cottage  (this includes the Sunroom)

Please be conscious of the fact that the cottage is on a septic system and community well water system, so your water conservation efforts are appreciated. (There is only a 20-gallon hot water tank, so a “hot shower” will only last about 15 minutes)

Pets

Up until this year there has been a NO Pets policy.  I am going to relax that somewhat and say that pets are "negotiable".  (Although there will need to be an additional clause in the "lease" outlining that any damage or excessive cleaning caused by the pets will be billed to the owner)

Garbage and Re-cycling

Pickup is on Mondays for recycling, and Wednesdays for Garbage pick-up.  I have left some tags at the cottage (bright green) that need to be attached to the garbage bags for pickup.  It would be appreciated if you would place any garbage at the curb on the Wednesday morning, rather than Tuesday night, as that will prevent the raccoons from getting into it.

Beach (Bluewater Beach ... Directly across the street, down the 90 NEW stairs)

The beach access is located across the street from the cottage (look for the yellow posts) There are two ways to the beach from this point … either the path or the staircase.

Telephone

Sorry, but there is no telephone at the cottage (cell phones do work in the area but reception can sometimes be "spotty").
